Fire Extinguishers are often the first line of defence in an event. They are portable, light enough for most adults to carry to a fire, and have enough capacity to make a difference on fires before the fire takes a real hold of the situation. It’s those first few minutes that these devices can save property and life.

Although many extinguishers can withstand harsh conditions, there are still moving parts that can fail; some familiar sources of damage to fire extinguishers include:

  • Low and high temperatures extremes
  • Exposure to ultraviolet rays
  • Theft
  • Missues by Inebriated persons
  • Humidity, and other forms of moisture
  • Excessive vibration

What can you do now?

If you are not sure, call us to inspect. It is not a huge cost, and will establish confidence in your equipment for you and your staff. it shows a proactive attitude.
